COVID-19 Testing Terms and Conditions

Types of Covid Test
It is your responsibility to ensure you are booking the correct tests for yourself, family, friends, or colleagues. We will endeavour to give good advice based on the latest Gov.UK website, but ultimately the responsibility is yours and will depend on your vaccination status, travel plans, and residency status.

  • Red List, we do not offer this type of covid testing
  • Green List, PCR Day 2 Test after arrival in UK and no need to quarantine
  • Amber List for fully vaccinated, then PCR Day 2 Test and no need to quarantine
  • Amber List for non-vaccinated, then PCR Day 2 and Day 8 Tests taken whilst completing mandatory quarantine for 10 days at the address given in your booking.
  • Amber List optional PCR Day 5 Test to Release to end quarantine early
  • Fit to Fly PCR Test
  • Fit to Fly Antigen Test
  • General PCR Test
  • General Antigen Test
Note: Arrival date in UK is taken as Day 0.
Day 2 Tests can be taken “on or before” Day 2, so we advise taking as soon as possible

Each test kit includes full instructions for use, together with a pre-paid Royal Mail Priority post bag. Kits will be mailed to the Shipping Address on the order (UK only), and will be dispatched to arrive at or before the time of your arrival in UK. Multiple test kits (if ordered) will be mailed together. Our packages will fit through a normal letterbox.

There is no limit to how many people can be on a single order, but if kits need to be mailed to different addresses, separate orders should be placed for each Shipping Address.

The above does not apply where a supervised test has been booked at one of our clinics, or for rapid antigen tests. In those cases the test kits will be available at the clinics for your appointment.
We do not offer a drop-in service for in-clinic supervised testing, only by appointment.

Booking Process
When you place your order online, we only collect a limited amount of personal information to enable us to process your payment and mail out your kits, and to keep the booking process simple. But we will need more information from you. Once you place your order, you will receive an automated “Thank you for your order” email, giving you a Booking Reference Number for each person covered by the order. This will start with CHLTD——-, and is the number you will need to enter into the UK Government’s Passenger Locator Form (PLF) prior to arrival in UK. You cannot travel to UK without having a Booking Reference Number and a PLF.

Each Booking Reference Number is highlighted with the note “(click to register)”, which you must do. That will take you to an online form where we will collect further travel and personal details as required by the UK Government. The online form is headed “Registering Your Test Kit” and failure to complete this may invalidate your order.
You will also receive an automated email giving you your receipt from Pay360PaymentConfirmation.
If you do not receive these emails please check your spam or junk mail before contacting us.
Once you place your order it means that you have accepted our full terms and conditions of booking, without affecting any other consumer rights you have. Our GDPR and Privacy Policy can be found on our website.

Booking Information
Please carefully check the accuracy of your booking before placing the order, particularly the UK shipping address and your email. If there are special delivery instructions, you must tell us at the time of booking.

Test Results
Your covid test results will be emailed to you using the email address each traveller has provided on their online form “Registering Your Test Kit”. The results will be one of the following: Negative, Positive, Inconclusive, and the email will give the UK Government advice on what you should do. We aim to have results emailed to you no longer than 24 hours after being accepted by our laboratory, and in many cases it is much shorter. We cannot guarantee Royal Mail delivery times for tests posted to our laboratory. If you are concerned about the timing of results please contact us before placing your order so we can discuss the options.

Refunds Policy
Once your order is placed it is non-refundable. You can change your order to a different date or shipping address, provided we have not already mailed out your kits, and the new order is of the same value. We will give full refunds if a change of UK Government policy means that an unused test you have purchased is no longer needed, or it is clear that you have made a genuine error. Our default is that we will always try to be reasonable with reasonable customers.

Passenger Locator Form (PLF)
It is your responsibility to complete the UK Government PLF for each traveller, before arriving in UK.
